The SAFE-ANIMAL application helps in finding missing animals, and also makes it easier to reach the owner if the animal is found.
How it's working?
If the animal is lost or found, we can send an ALERT, which will notify all users in the area that we have lost or found the animal. Users will receive a notification with detailed information about the animal. By sending alerts to users in the area, we significantly increase the likelihood of lost animals returning home quickly.
In the event that we find an animal and it has a microchip number or a pendant with a QR code, we can find the owner data in the SAFE-ANIMAL International Database.
Access to background location.
The SAFE-ANIMAL application uses access to the location of the device even when the application is turned off or not in use, to provide the user with information about animals that have been found or missing in their vicinity. Location information is not sent off the user's device.
