Have you subscribed to your Germany ticket with koveb and would you like to use it easily and digitally on your smartphone? Then koveb D-Ticket is your app!
As soon as you have ordered your Germany ticket in the koveb online portal, you can log in to the app with your access data, load your ticket into the app and you can drive off.
This is how it works:
- Order your Germany ticket in the koveb online portal at www.koveb.de/deutschlandticket
- Download the koveb D-Ticket app
- Log in to the app using your access from the online portal
- Your Germany ticket will now be automatically displayed in the app

Can I also open the app offline?
Yes, the code is available even if there is no WiFi or mobile network.
Does my Germany ticket update automatically?
Yes. Unless the contract is terminated, the Deutschlandticket will automatically be extended for another month. The code in the app is automatically updated.
How does the control on the bus work?
When you get on the bus, show the bus driver your QR code in the app or hold it up to the QR code readers on the ticket printer on the koveb buses. Please also bring photo ID with you, as the D-Ticket is not transferable and is only valid in conjunction with ID.
Can I also show a screenshot of my QR code?
No. The QR code must be opened via the app. For security reasons, a screenshot is not possible in the app.
What do I have to do if I lose my smartphone?
The driving authorization is assigned to your customer account. If you lose your smartphone, you can reinstall the app on any other or new smartphone. After logging in with your login details, you can use the code again.
What applies to children?
Children under six years of age travel free on public transport and do not need a ticket at all. Children over 6 years of age need their own Germany ticket - either on their smartphone or as a koveb chip card.
How can I cancel my Germany ticket?
You can cancel in our koveb online portal. This must be done by the 10th of a month, with effect from the end of the respective month (see General Terms and Conditions).
