Hero Wars is an RPG where players assemble a team of heroes to take on monsters and beasts in the PvE mode and challenge other players in the PvP Arena.

With a wide array of heroes, your goal is to level them up, promote them, evolve their abilities, equip them with gear, and unlock powerful skills to annihilate your foes.

Of course, to be able to achieve these all upgrades, you’ll need to invest time in grinding through the campaign mode.

Building Your Hero Team

Your primary goal in Hero Wars is to build the best hero team possible. To achieve this, the game offers a variety of heroes, each with unique abilities, roles, and stats.

There are several hero types in Hero Wars:

  • Tank: Frontline fighters that excel in absorbing damage.
  • Support: Heroes that are capable of aiding their allies through abilities like healing and buffs.
  • Healer: Heroes who specialize in restoring the health of their team members.
  • Mage: Magic-wielding heroes excelling in burst damage, buffs, and debuffs.
  • Control: Masters of crowd control, capable of stunning, slowing, or freezing enemies.
  • Marksman: Backline attackers excelling at dealing damage from a distance.
  • Warrior: Frontline fighters, excelling in melee combat.

When building your dream team, it is important to choose your heroes wisely. Consider their strengths and roles as well as the strengths and weaknesses of your enemies.

For example, deploying an all-attacker team can be ideal for quickly completing a previously conquered stage, whereas a balanced team is better for a challenging encounter where enemies match your team’s power. You can find information about a hero’s type in the hero profile’s stats tab.

Daily Quests

Increasing your team level is essential to your heroes’ progression. It unlocks new features and enables you to upgrade your heroes to even greater heights. Completing daily quests, which grants team EXP, is a great way to increase your team level.

Access the daily quests by tapping the book icon in the upper-left corner of the game screen. These quests not only offer team EXP but also provide other valuable rewards such as gold coins, raid tickets, chests, energy, and more.

Raids

Raiding a completed stage is an excellent method for acquiring additional rewards and gear. If you have already earned a stage’s maximum of three stars, you can use the raid function.

Simply go to the campaign mode, select the completed 3-star stage, and tap the raid button. You can raid a stage up to three times a day using raid tickets, which are obtainable through quests or the theater.

In Hero Wars, there are a number of ways to acquire heroes. Complete the chapters, open heroic chests, visit the Arena Shop, and take advantage of the Event Shop.

Additionally, you will need duplicate hero shards to enhance your team’s power. To find out how to obtain these duplicate hero shards, go to the all heroes menu, select an unlocked hero, and tap the upward arrow next to the evolve button.

Locked heroes offer information on how to acquire their shards as well. You can claim one chest daily, but more heroic chests can be opened using emeralds. You can obtain free emeralds by completing sponsored offers or watching video ads.
