Description
Shooting Stars is a bubble shooting game. It is set in space, and the bubbles are images of stars.
Tap the screen where you want the star on the shooting platform to go. If the star collides with another star of the same color, and there are at least 2 of them touching, they will "extinguish", otherwise the star you shot will be added to the level.
Unlike other bubble games, the stars are not bubbles attached to the ceiling that fall once disconnected. However the game will not allow 1 star to stand alone, except at the top of the level. So if you shoot a blue star at a group of 2 blue stars, and 1 red one, all will extinguish. If it's 2 blue and 2 red, or 1 red and 1 green, then the non blue stars will remain.
There are 100 unique levels of stars to extinguish. Levels contain from as few a 3 different stars, all the way up to a maximum of different 8 stars.
SCORING - Each star that is extinguished is worth 10 points multiplied by the level that you are on. So level 1 stars are worth 10 points, and level 100 stars are worth 1000 points each.
IMMEDIATE BONUSES - Pop five for more bubbles and receive an immediate bonus. The bonus is 15 points times the level number times the number of bubbles popped.
LEVEL BONUSES - If you clear all the bubbles on the level, you will receive a level bonus based on your performance. The fewer bubbles shot to clear the level, the higher the bonus.
GAME OVER - The game ends when the lowest star in the level drops below the top of the star being shot. Your progress up the to current level is saved. The next game begins at the beginning of the most recent level achieved.
Watch out, after 10 seconds of inactivity, the stars will get closer by the diameter of a star. This also happens after every 10 stars are shot.
LEADERBOARD - The Game Center Leaderboard will allow you to compete with your friends.
ACHIEVEMENTS
RED STAR. You cleared 24 levels of stars, and there will be no more levels with just 3 stars. 4 or more from now on.
GREEN STAR. You cleared 45 levels of stars, and there will be no more levels with just 4 stars. 5 or more from now on.
BLUE STAR. You cleared 76 levels of stars, and there will be no more levels with just 5 stars. 6 or more from now on.
AMBER STAR. You cleared 91 levels of stars, and there will be no more levels with just 6 stars. 7 or more from now on.
PURPLE STAR. You Completed The Game !
