The interest of this application is to take into account the quality of the outside air in order to optimize the most opportune moments to renew its interior air. If the quality of the outside air is satisfactory, the application tells you that you can open your windows. It is recommended to open for 10 to 15 minutes. Otherwise, the application is able to consider the evolution of external conditions and offers you more favorable time slots for airing, while taking into account your sensitivity.
To make its recommendations, the application uses the AQI (Air Quality Index) indicator developed by the World Health Organization. In addition, the main factors of outdoor air allergy are pollens. The National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA www.pollens.fr) monitors 18 different pollens throughout the territory, available in the J’AERE application. The service offered takes the form of an Allergic Pollen Exposure Risk Level (RAEP). This risk takes into consideration the observed concentrations of each pollen, the pollination stage of the tree or grass from which it comes and the wind and rain conditions. It is this RAEP which is recognized by the health authorities (General Directorate of Health, Regional Health Agencies, etc.) as the indicator most suited to the needs of allergy sufferers and health professionals. You can select the pollens of your allergy (18 proposed) and have an indicator of the rate of presence as well as the beginning of the pollen seasons and peaks of presence by choosing the notifications.
If the quality of the outside air is not satisfactory, it is recommended to avoid opening the windows and you can access more favorable time slot proposals thanks to an icon at the top right.
