The flashlight won’t work when the monster is in the house. Players can only try to avoid the monster and keep the lights on at all times.

- Players can hide in cupboards in the house to also avoid the monster but it won’t hold very long.
- Players can also use wood planks to barricade the doors just like the windows.
- Players can wait until 11 pm and hide in the first room closest to the door and when the monster enters quickly run out to refill the generator.
