CABAL: Return of Action is a mobile MMORPG that was developed and published by ESTsoft Inc. The game is available on both Android and iOS platforms and at the time of creating this article, the game is sitting on more than 50K downloads on the PlayStore, only a few days after its official launch.

CABAL: Return of Action – The Basics
We already mentioned that CABAL: Return of Action is an MMORPG, and as such, it comes with all the standard MMORPG mechanics that you can expect. Set in the fictional realm of Nevareth, the game has the player take on the role of their created character who then travels across the lands completing quests, battling fearsome foes, and progressing through the game’s story.

Players can also find and upgrade equipment for their chosen class, learn new spells and abilities, craft various items, complete dungeons and raids, and participate in large-scale PvP battles.
CABAL: Return of Action – Classes and Character Creation
First thing first, before you start playing the game, you will need to create your character. The game will take you straight to the character creation screen once you select your server and task you with making your avatar. Players are able to swap between the male and female gender, alter their appearance by changing their face, hairstyle, and hair color, and pick one of the eight possible classes.

Wizard – Wizard is a long-range class that uses its magic to deal damage to enemies as well as to protect themselves from harm. Wizards are capable of dealing large amounts of both single target and AoE damage. They greatly benefit from the Intellect stat and wear light armor.

Force Archer – Force Archer is a hybrid class capable of dealing both physical and magical damage. They specialize in long-range combat and are an excellent support class. Force Archers wear medium armor and benefit from stats such as Dexterity and Intelligence.

Force Shielder – Force Shielders are all about defense. They wear the heaviest of armor and use their magical abilities to create powerful shields to protect themselves and their allies. Force Shielders benefit from all stats and favor balance between them. They are best suited to be on the front lines of the battlefield.

Force Blader – Force Bladers are a class that specializes in wielding both swords and magic. This class favors long blades and favors speed and precision above all else. They wear medium armor and benefit from stats like Strength and Dexterity.

Gladiator – Gladiators are excellent melee fighters however, they can deal damage at range by spending a resource called Rage. Rage is generated by using various skills and can then be spent to deal massive amounts of damage to enemies. Gladiator’s weapon of choice is Chakram. They wear heavy armor and benefit from the Strength stat.

Force Gunner – Force Gunners class specializes in using long-range weapons and focuses on sniping their enemies from afar and dealing massive AoE damage. This class favors high attack speed and critical strikes and can deal both physical and magical damage to their enemies. Force Gunners benefit from stats such as Intelligence and Dexterity.

CABAL: Return of Action – Stats, Attributes and Leveling Up
As you are completing quests, killing enemies, and progressing through the game, your character will gain experience and once enough is accumulated, it will level up. Upon leveling up, the player will receive five points which they can spend on three primary attributes as they see fit. Doing so will increase various stats of your character, so let’s take a closer look at the attributes and stats in question.

Strength – Strength is one of three main attributes in CABAL: Return of Action. Increasing this attribute will affect various stats of your character such as Health Points, Attack, Damage Reduction, Down Resistance, and the ability to Ignore Penetrating Damage.
Intelligence – Intelligence is one of three main attributes in CABAL: Return of Action. Increasing this attribute will affect various stats of your character such as Magic Attack, Critical Rate Resistance, Critical Damage Resistance, Skill Amplification Resistance, Knockback Resistance, and Stun Resistance.

Dexterity – Dexterity is one of three main attributes in CABAL: Return of Action. Increasing this attribute will affect various stats of your character such as Attack Rate, Defense Rate, Evasion, Unmovable Resistance, and Down Resistance.
CABAL: Return of Action – Skills and Combos
In order to survive in the harsh world of Nevareth, players will need to be able to defend themselves against different kinds of monsters and creatures. Luckily for them, their characters are capable of learning a plethora of spells and abilities that can deal damage to enemies, apply lasting effects, or even protect the players themselves. Each of the classes can learn different abilities and players can equip them to their hotbar located at the bottom of the screen. It is also worth noting that these abilities can be upgraded individually to make them stronger.

Another thing worth mentioning when it comes to combat in CABAL: Return of Action is the combo system. The combo system can be toggled on and off at any time depending on the player’s choice.

Combos can increase the amount of damage that the player deals to enemies. However, in return, the combo system requires the player to focus on the game a lot more. Once this system is enabled, a combo bar will appear and the player will be required to tap the screen at a specific time in order to maximize their damage output. The more precise you are, and the more time you do this in succession, the more damage will be dealt by your abilities.
CABAL: Return of Action – Items and Upgrades
As the player progresses through the game and levels up, they will gain access to various items and equipment such as weapons, rings, and armor. Each piece of equipment grants different stats to the player and requires specific attributes in order to be worn. These requirements can vary depending on the armor piece and its type.

Players can also choose to upgrade their equipment in order to get more benefits from each individual piece. In order to do so, players will need to acquire various types of materials and other items. These can be purchased at the vendors, picked up in the form of loot, or even bought from the in-game shop.
CABAL: Return of Action – Currency
Like the majority of mobile games and MMORPGs, CABAL: Return of Action comes with its own currency system. There are two different types of main currency, Gold and Gems.
Gold is the primary currency of the game and can be acquired in large quantities simply by doing in-game activities such as killing enemies and completing quests. Gold can be spent on various things such as items, skill books, potions, etc.

Quests are what you will be doing the most in order to level up and make your character stronger. Most of them are what you would expect to see in any other RPG and require you to either kill a specific number of certain enemies, find a certain number of specific items, locate an NPC, kill a boss monster, clear out a dungeon, etc.

Completing quests will usually reward the player with gold and experience as well as various items such as flasks, potions, crafting materials, skill books, armor, weapons, etc. Many quests will also provide the player with an option to choose additional rewards from a small pool of items.

Dungeons are large instances that require a party of seven players in order to complete. Each dungeon has its own requirements that need to be fulfilled before the players can enter it. These can come in the form of a specific level or other class requirements.

Dungeons feature stronger than usual enemies which can drop better loot, and as such they require focus and preparation from players prior to entering. This is why you should always make sure that you have enough potions and other resources on hand before heading into a dungeon.

Raids are essentially a larger form of dungeons that house the most powerful enemies and feature the best rewards that players can obtain. Raids usually require larger groups of players to cooperate in order to be completed and usually have higher requirements in order to be accessible.
