The game improves and adds onto the elements of its predecessor and at the time of writing this, features more than 100K downloads and almost 5k reviews with an average score of 4.3 out of 5.

Tailed Demon Slayer: RISE puts the player in the shoes of a fox protagonist who is on a neverending quest to break the mysterious curse. On his journey, the player’s main objective is to defeat hordes of various demons and bosses while constantly improving his character in numerous ways.

Equipment
Your demon slayer is able to collect and wield different types of equipment. In terms of defensive options, your character can access various helmets and armor, however, it is the weapons that are a lot more important.

When it comes to weapons, there are six different options in total and they come in pairs. Your character is able to wield and switch between three different options, however, he can’t use two weapons from the same pair. You will need to make a choice between a rapier and a hammer, a spear and a Gatling gun, and a crossbow and a battle fan. Each of the weapons comes with its own set of three unique abilities.

Weapons and equipment can be acquired through the summoning mechanic, and multiple weapons of the same type can be merged to create weapons of better quality.
Costumes
Costumes can be acquired by spending costume summon tickets which are a very rare currency. Aside from providing your player with a new look, they also offer various passive as well as active abilities that further increase the strength of your character. Training – Training is the most basic way to increase the basic stats of your character. Training requires the player to spend gold and each time the player trains a certain stat, its price increases.

Level Traits – Traits allow the player to increase their stats by spending trait points. Trait points are earned by leveling up your character and for every level that you gain, you will receive one trait point.

Skills – This feature allows you to upgrade your weapon skills in exchange for Skill Scrolls. It also grants you access to the Mastery tree which can further increase the power of your weapon skills.

Fairies – Fairies are small creatures that follow your character around and provide it with multiple boosts and bonuses. These little monsters can be summoned in exchange for diamonds and can also be upgraded which further increases the benefits they provide. Your character can have only three fairies accompanying it at the moment and there are many different types of them.

Awakening – This feature allows the player to upgrade orbs that grant you various stats such as max HP or damage dealt with specific weapons. Awakening becomes available after the player unlocks the ability to meditate and requires you to spend Fox Orb Shards in order to upgrade your orbs. Once they reach their maximum level, you will need to defeat a boss before being able to unlock the next tier.

Dungeons
Dungeons are smaller levels that award the player with a specific currency upon completion. They usually last around thirty seconds and each dungeon features a different goal that the player needs to complete in order to clear the dungeon. Each dungeon type comes with its own level and the higher the level the greater the difficulty.

Donmami’s Gem Cart – This type of dungeon requires you to protect a hippo while he pulls a large cart full of gems from one point to another. On this journey, demon bandits will try to ambush you and it is your job to keep the gem cart safe. Awards the player with gems.

Sloth King’s Gold Temple – This type of dungeon has the player enter the temple of the Sloth King in order to steal gold from the Sloth King’s servants. In order to clear this dungeon, the player is required to acquire a set amount of gold. As the name suggests, this dungeon provides gold as a reward for the player.

Elemental Caves – Elemental caves are split into three types, Flame, Lightning, and Ice. This type of dungeon tasks the player with accumulating damage into a large elemental gem and rewards the player with different types of elemental stones depending on the type of dungeon.

Great Library of Charrisseum – The main objective of the Library dungeons is for the player to survive a set amount of time while constantly being under attack by hordes of demons. Completing this dungeon will award the player with Skill Scrolls.

Summoning
Summoning is a game mechanic that allows the player to summon weapons and fairies in exchange for diamonds. Each time the player uses the summon option, they will receive a random set of either weapons or fairies which they are free to use as they see fit. After using the summon option a specific number of times, the quality of the items received will permanently improve.

Sky Island
Guardians – Guardians are large mythical creatures that will aid the player on their journey. There are three elemental guardians that you can choose from, Qilin(Lightning), Hyoryu(Ice), and Jujak(Flame).

Meditation – Meditation is a mini-game in which you connect orbs of the same type in order to gather Meditation Stones.

Mental Training – This Sky Island feature lets you improve various aspects of your character in exchange for Meditation Stones.

Dispatch – This feature will let you use the costumes that you aren’t wearing as your clones and assign them to various regions in order to gain special currency called Fame Points as well as power-ups, and other rewards.

Gems – Gems are considered a very valuable currency within the world of Tailed Demon Slayer: RISE and are fairly rare. Gems can be acquired within the main stages, by finishing the Gem Cart dungeons or by meditating. They can also be acquired by completing quests, as rewards from the Battle Pass, or bought from the shop. As a currency, Gems are mostly used for summoning equipment and fairies.
Skill Scroll – This currency can be used to upgrade weapon skills and can be obtained by completing the Great Library of Charrisseum dungeons.

Meditation Stone – Meditation stones are used for mental training which increases your inner strength and are only obtainable by meditating.
Orb Shard – This currency can only be obtained by meditating and is used to level up your character’s orbs.

Feather of Jujak – This currency can be obtained by completing the Flame Elemental Caves and is used to level up guardian Jujak.
Claw of Hyoryu – Used to level up your guardian Hyoryo and can be obtained by completing the Ice Elemental Caves.

Stage Quests – This type of quest are the most common one in the game. They appear on the side of your screen and one will always be active. Stage Quests usually require the player to complete a specific dungeon such as the Donmani’s Gem Cart or the Sloth King’s Gold Temple, slay a specific number of demons, or kill a certain boss. Completing stage quests will reward the player with diamonds.

Daily Quests – Daily Quests are twelve different objectives that the player can complete on a daily basis. These quests reward the player with diamonds and can range from completing different dungeons to summoning various items.
