The Geo-strategic wargame The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War has just officially released last week, and it already managed to gather an outstanding number of players. This NetEase creation has surprised everybody that, in such a short time, it has climbed the ladder and is now featured on Apple’s App Store and Samsung’s Galaxy Store.
For those who haven’t had a chance to play it yet, The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War is a stunning base builder which takes place in the world of Middle-earth, with its goods – and bads. Players are tasked to pick their Faction, create their ring, and try to expand their territory and win over the other players in the ultimate quest: to acquire the One Ring.
By conquering specific terrain tiles, players can expand their base in whichever direction they please. That allows for countless possibilities, making it not only a beautiful game, but also one that relies solely on strategy.
With the ability to pick between famous Kingdoms (Rohan, Isengard, Mordor, Erebor, Lothlorien and Gondor) players can forge their own path and take part in their very own War of the Ring.
