Developed by MOBIRIX and Game2Gather, Legendary Master Idle is an Idle/Strategic RPG/Simulation game released for iOS and Android devices in 2022.

The game follows a young girl named Hwang Bo Yeon, whose father got murdered when her village was attacked and destroyed.

Rescued by the Dark Spirit, the young girl embarks on a journey through forests, mountains, and dungeons to become a martial arts master and avenge her father.

With an idle battle system, players don’t have to actively participate in the hackin’ N slashin’. Instead, players have to focus on character builds. But, there is the choice to turn off Auto mode and take charge of the action.

As the game progresses, players need to grind out resources by defeating enemies to equip their character with the best weapons and armor and master the deadliest of skills.

In this guide, I will lay out everything you need to know about the various gameplay aspect of Legendary Master Idle so you can hit the ground running.

Legendary Master Idle Is Action From The GO!

After a few visually stunning cut scenes to build up the backstory, Legendary Master Idle gears up for non-stop action.

A fast-paced tutorial, given by the Dark Spirit, starts right after the cut scenes.

The Dark Spirit will teach you:

  1. Basic Game Mechanics.
  2. How to Grow your character.
  3. How to Equip and Enhance Equipment (Weapons, Armor, etc.).
  4. How to Unlock New Skills.
  5. How to Draw for New Items & Skills.
  6. How to Collect Mission & Event Rewards.

Plus, whenever something new unlocks in the game, the Dark Spirit walks the player through it.

But, the tutorials are fast-paced and chaotic. The game almost forces you through them and you might not even remember what you did a few moments later.

That’s where this Legendary Master Idle Walkthrough + Guide comes in handy.

Let’s start with the mechanics.

Legendary Master Idle Gameplay Mechanics

There are four key mechanics that players need to focus on in Legendary Master Idle.

  1. Growth.
  2. Equipment.
  3. Skill.
  4. Draw.

Aside from an overview of all these mechanics, you’ll find helpful tips that guarantee in-game success. So, let’s get started!

1. Growth

Photo: MOBIRIX

First and foremost is the Growth mechanic. This is where players can buff up the character by increasing Striking Power, Attack Speed, Damage Dealing, and other important stats.

There are five further sub-categories in the Growth Mechanic-

  1. Sword Training.
  2. Dark Spirit Enhancement.
  3. Inner Power Training.
  4. Grade Up.
  5. Soul Carving.

All these sub-categories improve the various physical attributes of the character, but here are the ones you want to boost from the get-go.

  • Striking Power.
  • Attack Speed.
  • Increase Silver Coin Gain.
  • Increase EXP Gain.
  • Increase Striking Power by %.
  • Increase Likelihood of Fatal Blow.
  • Increase Damage of Fatal Blow.
  • Reduce Cooldown.

These are the only stats that matter in Campaign Mode. So, instead of wasting in-game currency on stats like Health, it’s better to improve your attacking stats.

Once your level reaches high enough, you’ll unlock “Increase Likelihood of Extreme Fatal Blow” and “Increase Damage of Extreme Fatal Blow.” These are stats you want to max out ASAP.

2. Equipment

Within Equipment, there are three sub-categories:

  1. Weapon: Decides Striking Power.
  2. Armor: Decides Max HP.
  3. Accessory: Increases likelihood and Damage of Fatal Blow

Weapon, Armor, and Accessory are divided into 28 tiers in Legendary Master Idle, starting from C (weakest) and going all the way up to UR+++ (strongest).

While all three Equipment are a necessity, Weapons (Swords) should be the main focus.

You need to get your hands on a higher-tier (at least S-tier) Weapon as soon as possible.

Armor and Accessory promotion is almost on auto-pilot mode. But that doesn’t mean you ignore them completely. Just keep promoting them whenever the game notifies you and hit Equip Recommendation.

3. Skill

There are 35 Skills in Legendary Master Idle. These are special attacks that can inflict from 1% to 1000% Damage depending on the Skill Tier and Level.

The Skills are divided into four sub-categories:

  1. Sky.
  2. Land.
  3. People.
  4. None.

Players can only equip six skills at a time. So, it’s best to test them out and revamp your builds when a Skill and Equipment combo stops bringing success.

4. Draw

Photo: MOBIRIX

What’s called Roll in Western RPGs is called Draw in Asian RPGs. Used right, players can get the rarest of items in Draw.

In exchange for Gold Bullion, the main in-game currency, players can Draw:

  1. Weapon.
  2. Armor.
  3. Accessory.
  4. Skill.
  5. Reforging Stone.

If you’re having trouble unlocking items from the higher tiers, trying out your luck in Draw is well worth a go.

Make sure you check out the Probability Table of whatever you decide to Draw.

Check the images below to see how to access the Probability Table.

Aside from these main mechanics, two secondary gameplay mechanics can provide great support if done right.

  • Relics: These are specialized enchantments for your Skills. Relic of the Sky, Relic of the Land, and Relic of the People correspond with Sky, Land, and People Skill respectively. Create Relic and Skill combos of the same school to boost your stats.
  • Mystical Creature: There are four Mystical Creatures in Legendary Master Idle- Vermillion Bird, Blue Dragon, Black Tortoise, and White Tiger. These are pets with benefits. All four can boost Striking Power, reduce Skill Cooldown, and increase the chance and damage of Fatal and Extreme Fatal Blows.

Both these mechanics are pretty hard to unlock and even harder to enhance and deserve stand-alone guides.

Let me know if you’d like a fully detailed guide on Relic and Mystical Creature in the comments down below.

Legendary Master Idle Walkthrough – Games Modes, Chapters, Rewards, & More!

With the basics of gameplay mechanics out of the way, it’s time for a walkthrough.

Legendary Master Idle has plenty of playable content that includes main and bonus game modes.

There are two main game modes:

  1. Campaign.
  2. PvP in Sparring Room.

There’s also a bonus mode called Challenge which is basically dungeon raiding for rewards. Here’s a detailed overview of all three.

Campaign Mode (PvE)

The players follow the main story, progressing through Chapters and Episodes and winning Boss Battles. There is a time limit within which the player must defeat the General Enemies and the Boss. In case of failure, the Episode will replay automatically, and the player must enhance their equipment and character skills to ensure success.

Sparring Room – PvP

After completing Episode 20 of Chapter 7 in PvE mode, players can unlock the Sparring Room to go head-to-head with other players in real-time. There are no “mechanics” to discuss for PvP. The player with the stronger build wins.

Apart from the two main modes, players also get a dungeon raiding mode- Challenge which I’ve discussed in detail later on.

For now, let’s focus on the most important game mode- PvE.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Chapters of Campaign Mode in Legendary Master Idle.

Campaign Mode Chapters, Episodes, & Rewards

As of writing up this guide, there are 17 playable Chapters in Legendary Master Idle. Each Chapter has a varying number of Episodes. Here’s a comprehensive table of all the Chapters and their respective Episodes.

While going through these Chapters and Episodes, players have to defeat multiple General Enemies and one Boss per episode.

There are no known weaknesses and strengths of the General Enemies or the Final Bosses in Legendary Master Idle. Kill all the enemies within 90 seconds to Break Through to the next episode. Failure to Break Through means your Character and Equipment aren’t strong enough.

In short, strengthening your character, continuously enhancing your equipment, and creating the perfect mix of Weapon and Skill is the only recipe for success. And I’ve already told you how to do that.

Now, here’s the Chapters and Rewards table.

You’ll breeze past the first four Chapters. Chapters 5 and 6 will require you to make some changes to your Equipment, but you’ll get through swiftly. Post that, it’s all about patience and proper use of resources.

You will get stuck and you will have to farm sooner or later by replaying previous Chapters. If you don’t want to farm in Campaign Mode, it’s time to raid some dungeons in Challenge Mode.

Challenge

Photo: MOBIRIX

In Challenge, players get to raid dungeons and reap the rewards. The more damage you cause within one minute the higher the reward.

There are 5 Challenge dungeons.

  1. Evil Spirit Warehouse.
  2. Room of the Inner Side.
  3. Crack in the Abyss.
  4. Nest of Mystical Creature.
  5. Infinite Tower.

Every Challenge has different enemies and different rewards. As you progress through Campaign Mode, the dungeons will unlock one after another.
The last Challenge is Sparring Room which unlocks PvP Mode in Legendary Master Idle.

So, if you want to enjoy PvP, finish Chapter 7, Episode 20 at the earliest. But that is easier said than done.

That’s the end of my Legendary Master Idle walkthrough and guide.

While there are a lot of complexities to the game, there is no need to overwhelm yourself from the start. Be patient, boost your Weapon and Striking Power stats, and new things will unlock themselves. When stuck, replay finished Chapters to farm resources in minutes.
