Kawaii Fishing Together – Character Creation

Kawaii Fishing Together starts you off by allowing you to create your own character. Like in many games, the character creation allows you to choose your gender, hairstyle, skin color, and the clothes you are wearing.

While there are only a few options available in each category, they are more than enough to get the job done and let you create your personal avatar and express yourself.

NPC Requests

Over the course of your adventure, you will encounter many other Katchers and NPCs across multiple islands in Kawaii Fishing Together. Most NPCs that you encounter will either have a quest for the player or will ask for them to fulfill some kind of request.

These requests will mostly ask the player to collect a specific number of certain items and bring them back to the NPC who will in turn reward the player for the job well done.

On occasion, players will also be able to make a dialogue choice which will usually be tied into the quest that the player is doing. Completing the quest will earn you different rewards.

Kawaii Fishing Together – Story Quests

Throughout your fishing adventure, you will be tasked with completing a variety of story quests. As their name implies, story quests are a set of tasks and missions that the player will need to complete in order to advance through the game’s story.

These tasks can vary from speaking to certain NPCs to catching a specific fish and everything in between. Completing story quests will unlock new islands for the player to visit and fish on.

Fishing Gear

Rods

Rods are an essential part of every Katcher’s equipment in Kawaii Fishing Together and are obviously required to fish at various fishing spots found on each of the islands. Every island comes with its own unique rod and each rod comes with its own level displayed by the number of stars.

Players can upgrade their rods, but in order to do so, they are required to consume the same amount of stars. Doing so will not only increase the power of the rod, but it will give it a brand new upgraded look too.

Each of the fishing rods comes with its own stats like the sonar boost and the ability to reel in heavier fish. Since these stats determine how big of a fish you can catch, naturally, you would want them to be as high as possible.

This is where the Redraw Stats option comes in handy. This option will allow the player to reroll the stats on their rod in exchange for Shells and potentially increase its capabilities.

Island Licenses

Similar to fishing rods, each of the islands in Kawaii Fishing Together comes with its own fishing license. Makes sense, you need a fishing license in order to fish right? There are two different types of licenses that players can obtain and each of them can be upgraded further, so let’s take a look at them.

How to Fish in Kawaii Fishing Together

Now that you are familiar with all the gear that you will be using as well as the fish that you will be catching, all that is left to do is learn how to fish in Kawaii Fishing Together. This is a relatively simple process.

The first thing you need to do is attach a lure to your fishing rod. Different fish prefer different kinds of lure so your choice will depend on the type of fish you want to catch.

Once your lure is attached, walk up to your favorite fishing spot and tap on the rod icon in the bottom right corner to cast your line.

When the fish bites, all you need to do is reel it in by tapping on the reel and keeping the bar near the center. After a few seconds, you will successfully pull out a fish.

Currency

Like most mobile games, Kawaii Fishing Together comes with its own type of currency which players can earn and spend on a variety of actions so let’s take a closer look at the different types of currency available in the game.

Pearls

Pearls are a type of currency that is primarily used to upgrade your Lure in Kawaii Fishing Together.

Pearls can be obtained from various sources such as catching any fish and the treasure chests, performing various challenges on the Islands, etc. In addition, pearls can be purchased from the shop in exchange for Shells.

Stone and Metal – These resources can be found on Beach Island. They can be collected by mining ore on the island or digging up dirt mounds.

Leather and Rubber – These resources can be found in Small Ville and within the Rain Forest. Small Ville has a large supply of leather while the Rain Forest is brimming with Rubber. Both of these resources can be acquired by trading with pets found on the Island.

Treasure Chest

The Treasure Chest is a chest that can contain all kinds of rewards for Katchers to enjoy. The way the Treasure Chest works in Kawaii Fishing Together is by accumulating different rewards over time. Players can open the Treasure Chest whenever they see fit and claim the rewards inside.

The Treasure Chest can contain all types of rewards such as Pearls, Lures, or even Rods. It is worth noting that Treasure Chest can only accumulate rewards up to the maximum of twelve hours when the rewards will stop increasing until the player claims them.

Once that happens, the Treasure Chest will begin its accumulation cycle anew.
