The global launch of Code Geass: Lost Stories is finally complete. Fans of Code Geass can finally experience the hit mecha anime as a tower defense game on their mobile screens.
With the game available to all, everyone’s diving deep into the Pilots. There are SIX types of Pilots: Assault, Guard, Repair, Exterminator, Strategist, and Specialist.
While veterans know Lelouch and Co. very well, beginners are wondering who the best and worst Pilots are. Going through each one and then deciding for yourself isn’t an option either, thanks to the huge roster with 50+ Pilots.
So, what’s the best way to find the best and worst characters? A Code Geass: Lost Stories tier list.
Having played the game since its initial launch in China and Korea, I’ve created this tier list to help others out. Make sure to read the ranking system before jumping to the tier list.
Code Geass: Lost Stories Tier List – How It Works?

I’ve created FOUR tiers for Code Geass Lost Stories- SS, S, A, and B. There are two reasons behind this ranking system:
- There are no useless Pilots in Code Geass Lost Stories, so there is no D tier.
- Some Pilots are too good for the S tier, hence a higher tier called SS.
If you’re wondering how I decided the tier for every pilot, here are the metrics I use:
- Damage Dealing: Can the Pilot deal high amounts of damage per hit?
- Survivability: Can the Pilot absorb critical hits?
- Value: Is the Pilot easy to obtain and upgrade?
- Versatility: How does the Pilot perform in various game modes?
Now that you know how I decide the rankings, let’s move on to the main part; the Code Geass Lost Stories tier list:

Things didn’t change too much when it came to Pilots post the global launch of Code Geass: Lost Stories on September 13, 2023.
However, as the game gets more content, we might get new Pilots that will challenge the current roster. When that happens, I’ll update this tier list accordingly.
