Let’s Get Started
As a fair warning, Love Nad Deepspace is not a small game, so once you have installed it on your device, make sure you have additional space.
We are talking about an additional 3.7GB’s worth of storage, as that is what is required to actually get started. It is worth it, however.
Once you have installed the additional requirements, you will be asked to set up your character.

You will have various options to choose from, such as:
- Face Appearance
- Hair Appearance
- Eye Colour
- Eyebrow Shapes
- Makeup
- Face Contours
These are a few of the options you can change. Select the one you would like to use, as this will be the character you will be playing with throughout Love And Deepspace.
If you are not happy with your current look but have started the game, you can always change your appearance.
To change your appearance after starting the game, follow these simple steps below:
- Select the Level icon located in the far left-hand corner at the top of your screen.
- Below your Level, you will see two icons, the first icon showing a blank face is where you will need to proceed to if you want to change your appearance. See the image below:

Change your appearance according to your personal preference, and don’t forget to save your changes.
Thereafter, you can choose your character’s name that will be visible during gameplay. Be sure to use an alias, not your real name, as it is always better to play online games anonymously.
Love And Deepspace – Gameplay
Now that we have the basics, let’s dive straight into gameplay. Love And Deepspace works differently than other action-packed games, in the sense that there is a story you will need to follow before actual battle takes place.
When you start off, you will be taken through a story tutorial that will show you the basics.
Interact with the characters as you are busy with gameplay by tapping in the allocated areas shown on your screen throughout the tutorial.
You will run headfirst into a battle and will be expected to fight the enemy within. Battles are not automated, so you need to be present throughout the entire battle.
You will receive help from your companion, so you are not entirely on your own. Also, note that your device will rotate to Landscape mode when entering any battle.
Battle Tactics
You have a bit of time to gather your bearings before a battle, however, it isn’t much, so be sure you are ready before engaging.
Enemies are vicious and will lunge towards you during battle, and that is where the dodge icon comes into play.
The dodge icon can be found on the right-hand side of your screen, alongside your weapon, and is displayed as a man running at a speed. See the image below:

Your weapon is the largest of the circles found on the right-hand side of your screen and can be used to attack the aliens. Note that you will have to press on the icon repeatedly in order to fire multiple shots.

If you tap and hold the weapons icon it will fire off a blast that is more effective against the enemies.
There are two additional icons that can be found, these two icons are special attack and skill attacks. A timer will count down and these will be able to be utilized once the timer has run down entirely.

Love And Deepspace – Weapons
Now for the really good stuff! Finding your weapons in Love And Deepspace can be tricky if you’re not sure where to look. First off, select Memories on your main screen.

Thereafter, on the pop-up screen, select Overview displayed on the second tab located at the very bottom of your screen.
On the next pop-up screen that appears, you will see three icons displayed at the bottom of your screen, namely:
- Companions,
- My Weapons, and
- My Outfits.
Select My Weapons. These weapons can be unlocked during gameplay and act as your main source of attack during battles. The following weapons and skills are available:

Love And Deepspace – Companions
Companions in Love And Deepspace are an effective means to gaining an advantage over enemies during battle. Having them equipped will boost your skills, as well as add additional help while engaging with aliens during a fight.
Rerolling in Love And Deepspace
As your typical action game, enrolling for companions is paramount to your success. A short guide below can be seen on how to do this exactly:
On the main screen, select the Wish icon displayed on the right-hand side.

There are three options available:
- Everlasting Dream – Deepspace Wish required
- Rippling Echo – Empyrean Wish Required
- Xspace Echo – Empyrean Wish Required

You will need to follow the story through Love And Deepspace, in order to obtain the required currency to draw Companions.
You can obtain them by completing missions and milestones and collecting them in daily gifts and various events.
Rerolling once at a time can earn you good companions, however, waiting until you have enough resources to draw ten companions at a time will benefit you in the long run.
The chances of obtaining more rare companions are higher when drawing more companions at a time. Keep that in mind before drawing.

Leveling your Companion
One of the most important aspects of Love And Deepspace is trying to get your character as strong as possible. Doing so enables you to take on the fiercest of aliens.
Leveling up your companions is one sure way to become stronger and more durable. How do you level up your Companion? See tips below:
- Select Memories at the bottom of the main screen.
- Tap on the Companion you would like to upgrade.
You will have a few options, namely:
Upgrade – Here you can upgrade your companion’s level, which in turn will increase the following on your companion:

- Hp (Health)
- ATK (Attack)
- Def (Defense)
- Crit Rate (Critical Rate)
Rank Up – This will increase the same stats as above, however, the level of stats will increase if you rank up your Companion. Increasing your Companions Rank will in turn increase the rarity level of your Companion, making them even stronger.

Looking For Romance?
You read that right! So who says it all has to be about slaying aliens and running around in Space? In Love And Deepspace, you can interact with your companions.
How you may ask? Simple! Follow the guidelines below:
Let’s Date!
You can choose the companion that you want to take out on a date with you, and in turn, you will be awarded companionship points that help you progress.
- Select Date at the bottom of your screen.
- You can choose By Your Side and choose the companion you would like to meet.
- Choose between Tender Moments and Secret Times to unveil a new perspective on Love And Deepspace.

Alternatively, you can choose Falling For You, Anecdotes, Photo Studio, or Playtime.
Anecdotes enable you to learn each Companion’s backstory and will reward you with resources once you have read them.
The Photo Studio allows you to take some pretty amazing pictures of you and your partner, allowing you to cherish the memorable time you have spent together.

You can even interact with your companion and change their outfit to suit your preferences. Simply tap on the companion you want to meet after tapping on the icon on the left-hand side of your main screen, which looks like a message symbol.
Select the hanger icon that appears on the right-hand side of your screen.

You can also change the music playing by tapping on the music note icon below the hanger.
You can choose Real-time, or the time of day you prefer, such as Day, Night, or Dusk.
You can even take a sneaky screenshot of your companion, while you are interacting with him. Simply tap on the camera icon located on the right-hand side of your screen during interaction.
And if that is not enough for you, text him and see his response. There are automated responses for you to choose from, and this makes Love And Deepspace one interesting game for those looking for a bit more than your usual action-packed game.
