Dusk of Dragons: Survivors was developed by COREGAMES PTE. LTD, and it’s available on both Google Play and the App Store.
This article is the Dusk of Dragons: Survivors ultimate guide to building your own kingdom, as we will mention everything you need to know about the game to progress faster than everyone else.
Basic Gameplay
Character Creation

First things first, you will need to create your own character. One of the cool options you get in the game is that you can customize everything about your character, starting with the face, hairstyle, colors, and even the tattoos and their colors.
So before diving into the game, make sure to pick your name and spend some time customizing your character.

Once you have created your character, you will be asked if you want to start with the novice guide or not. Our advice is not to skip the guide as you won’t receive the novice rewards, which would give you a huge push at the start of the game.
The first scene is that you have been hit by a spear from the enemies, so if you ever get stabbed, all you need to do is long press on it so you can remove it. It will hurt, but with some bandages, you will be good to go.

Now let’s look at your controls. All you need to do is move the left part of the screen, so you can move in any direction you want.
On the right side of the screen, you will find all the options you need, but as a beginner, you will find the closed hand, which you can replace later with any weapon to attack monsters.
The next option is the open hand, which is the one you will be using a lot as this is how you pick up your resources from corpses or chests.

The good part about Dusk of Dragons is that you won’t get lost somewhere without knowing where to head, as there is always a green arrow pointing to where you should go next. Always keep your eye on those arrows.
Also, on the top left of the screen is the map, which shows you where everything is.
On Screen Buttons

Once you have finished your tutorial, you are going to move to your town. The first thing you want to head to is your mail at the bottom of the screen, so you can find all the rewards you receive.
Next to it is the Craft button, where you can use resources to craft weapons, cloth, and consumables, which we will discuss in detail down below. On the right bottom corner is your back bag, which is one of the most important things you want to keep an eye on, as if it’s full, you won’t be able to collect resources, so you need to always store your items in the storage, which we will mention later

In the bottom center of the screen, you will find the “Build” button, where you can head to build basic and advanced buildings.

One of the most important things that you would need to build and upgrade is the boxes that work as storage, as your back bag won’t fit all the items you collect, so you will need to store them in boxes.
Don’t worry when you are in town; any upgrade or craft that would require items from the storage boxes will be available regardless of where they are in your bag or in the boxes.
But keep in mind that if you are out of town, the only items you can use are those available in your bag; you won’t be able to access items in your storage while you are not in town.
Squire Bed

You will be asked to build a squire bed for your squire so that you can hire a mercenary that you can give food to, and they will collect some specific resources for you that take time to find.
Mercenaries are a great way to get those resources, but for each mercenary, you will need to build a bed.
Once you upgrade your prestige level, you will get your first one, and then when you get to level 2, more mercenaries will come to visit you every day at midnight, and you choose who to recruit.

To find out more about Squires, head to the Squires tab on the top of the screen, where you will find all the mercenaries you recruited. Every mercenary chooses an amount of food to be fully satisfied, and the more food you give, the more quest gains they get.
Also, there are 6 types of mercenaries, such as gatherer, scavenger, hunter, scholar, craftsman, and explorer, and each of them has 3 qualities: average, elite, and master.
So always increase your prestige points by building homestead structures, hanging ornaments, and killing bosses so you can dispatch more squires with higher qualities for better loot.
Cooking Pot

You will find a cooking pot by default, which can be upgraded using some specific materials.
A cooking pot where you can put things on fire to make food and other items that require fire. You can find all the items that can be crafted on the left bar.

After you select the formula, you will be asked to add the materials required. Below that, there is the fuel zone, where you can add wood or other fuel types to fire up the pot, and next to it, you can add a blower to increase the burning temperature.
Bed

You will also find a damaged bed by default in your town, which you need to fix by using some wood. After fixing it, you can use it to increase some stats; for example, at level one, you will be well rested, which will increase the experience you gain by 5% for 30 minutes, and it can be used twice per day.
Woodwork Bench

From its name, the Woodwork Bench is used to get items that are made from wood, such as the plank, simple stand, fences, pine plank, and much more.
Just like any other crafting building, you will need to select the formula, add the items required, select the quantity you want to produce, and start crafting.
Stonework Bench

Once you build a stonework bench, you can craft most of the stone’s items, such as the slab, a simple grinding wheel, wheat flour, bone powder, limestone, and a lot more.
Loom

A loom is where you can use flax and cotton, along with other raw materials, to craft useable items such as cotton fabric, flax rope, linen, and much more. The higher your loom, the more items you unlock.
Dragons’ Eggs and Buildings
How to find eggs

Once you finish the early quests that appear on the left-hand side, a quest will require you to go to the Strange Cave, where you will find your first dragon egg, which is the fire dragon egg.
You can always find more eggs in the game. If you are one of those who joined the beta, you will get the dark dragon egg as a reward.
After that, more quests will guide you to get more eggs, such as the Ice Dragon Egg, which we will discuss later in this part.
How to hatch eggs

Once you get a dragon egg in your bag, head to the town and build the hatchery, where you can put dragon eggs to hatch.
Each egg requires different resources to hatch. For the fire dragon, in the same strange cave where you found the egg, there will be a chest; search it to get the items required to hatch the egg.

Once you have the items required, press Place and then hatch. Each egg has a different time to hatch; the fire dragon takes 5 minutes, while others, such as the dark dragon, take 30 minutes.
Also, the higher tier the dragon is, the higher level of hatchery will be required, so always upgrade your hatchery so you can hatch better dragons.

Once an egg hatches, you will need to return to the hatchery to obtain your dragon, which will look like an item in your bag until you place it in its own nest.
Nests

Each dragon has his own nest that you need to build in order to place the dragon; each nest has some conditions to be unlocked, and you get to build only one of each kind.

Once your dragon is ready in his nest, you will have to give it a name. You can also use the dice to get random names.
Dragons Panel

Now you will have a dragon icon on the bottom of your screen, or you can head to the nest so you can find everything related to this dragon.
First, you need to know that you can only use 1 dragon to follow you, and you can only change them while in town.
On the right, you will find all the dragons that you have already obtained. You can choose any of them to follow, and you can also choose the follow distance from low, medium, and high.
In the dragons panel, you can either recall the dragon to its nest in case you don’t want them to lose satiety, or you can choose the out option so they can start following you.

In the dragons panel, after feeding your dragon with any kind of food you have in your bag, its energy will increase and he can continue fighting by your side.
You will find all the other options you need, like the star up, in which you can use material to star up the dragon to make it more powerful, and the skills, which you can use while in battles. You will find the dragon’s skill on the bottom of your screen below the search button.
Also, you will find the equip option, where you can put items on your dragon to make it strike harder.
World Exploration

After you have your weapons, dragons, and armor ready, it’s time to go outside the town to explore the world, which is one of the main aspects of Dusk of Dragons. Out there are a lot of places where you can go.
Each place has its own resources and higher chances of obtaining specific items, so always know which items you are looking for so you can know where to head.
Remember that going to a village would cost you energy, and you have two options: either to walk, which would take up to hours to reach, or to sprint in 2 seconds using energy.

Each village or place has its own monsters and boss, and to clear them, you need to defeat the boss, which has huge damage and a huge health bar.
You get to choose between 3 difficulties in most of the places, which are easy, hard, and nightmare. The higher the difficulty, the stronger the monsters, so prepare your strongest weapons and dragon to conquer the map.

The first tip is to read each item’s description to know exactly what it does and how to best use it.
Next, pay attention to the quests that appear on the left side of the screen, as they give huge amounts of gold and experience. There are also a lot of daily and one-time missions, so you can get a lot of rewards.
Always pick the items you need the most in your bag, but if you have free space, consider picking other items so that you always have them whenever you need them.
Don’t hesitate to try things out. In Dusk of Dragons, there are a lot of things, such as skills, weapons, and dragons, so try all of them so you can find out what suits you the best.
