Luckily for the players, Dr. Ratio is the new free five-star character in Honkai: Star Rail version 1.6. Follow these instructions to get Dr. Ratio for free:
- Unlock the in-game mailbox. Veterans must have unlocked this feature, but it’s extremely important for newbies who are only starting their journey in Honkai Star Rail.
- After that, players need to complete the mission ‘The Blue – A Moment of Peace’
- Voila! Now you can get Dr. Ratio for free by logging into the game. By doing so, Dr. Ratio will be automatically sent to your in-game mail, where you can collect this hero and add him to your collection.
You can get Dr. Ratio on any of your accounts as long as you meet all the required criteria. However, ensure to claim the unit from in-game mail before the end of Honkai Star Rail 2.1. After the end of the 2.1 version, Dr. Ratio will disappear from the mailbox and you won’t be able to get this character for free.

In this free-to-play (F2P) team, Dr Ratio is the main DPS hero, and others work to increase his damage output.
Yukong increases Dr. Ratio’s CRIT damage and rate, while Asta buffs speed and gives Dr. Ratio a chance to burn enemies while attacking. Natasha works as a healer and sub-DPS support.

- Team: Dr. Ratio – Yukong – Topaz and Numby – Huohuo
Dr. Ratio synergizes with many characters, but with three buffers he showed peak performance. Huohuo, Yukong, and Topaz work all together to make every Dr. Ratio’s attack devastating.
Yukong is the most important buffer. She increases the team’s Crit Rate, Crit DMG, ATK, Imaginary DMG, and SPD, which makes her one of the best characters to use with Dr. Ratio.
Being a healer, Huohuo provides a significant healing boost and much-needed energy restoration. Huohuo also provides a small ATK boost, increasing Dr. Ratio’s DPS further.

Pela is the most powerful debuffer in the team. Pela’s ultimate skill lowers the defense of all enemies and her passive skill lowers defense even further.
Huohuo wears many different hats. She is a healer and support in this team, and her ultimate skill regenerates much-needed energy, while also increasing allies ATK.
