After a long wait, Blade X: Odyssey of Heroes was officially launched on January 9th, and it’s even more breathtaking than their epic trailer. Created using Unity, this Action RPG offers stunning graphics that will leave you completely immersed.
Blade X: Odessy of Heroes gives off the vibes of Diablo Immortal, another Action RPG that focuses on a dark-themed adventure.
With an isometric view and real-time combat, the gameplay revolves around defeating hordes of monsters, clearing stages with bosses, and progressing through the story and quest.

What sets Blade X apart is that you have six Heroes with different classes to choose from.
Unlike gacha games, where you have to gamble for a stronger Hero or Character each month, in Blade X, you can level up and upgrade your Hero’s equipment and relics to advance their stats and level to tackle more challenging content.
That said, through this article, I’m here to provide the list of playable Heroes with their respective tier rankings, skillsets, and playstyles in Blade X: Odyssey of Heroes.
Blade X – Attributes & Affinity

Before starting with the Hero Tier list for Blade X, let us acquaint ourselves with the affinity mechanics. This will deepen our understanding of choosing the right Hero for specific stages.
Each time you open a story stage or dungeon, the enemy’s dominant attribute is displayed on the right side of your screen. This provides you with the opportunity to choose a Hero that is strong against the enemy attribute in this breathtaking Action RPG, Blade X.

Following a Rock-Paper-Scissor system, the attribute affinity effects are as follows:

Note that tier lists serve as tools to assess the best-performed Heroes in Blade X and are suspectable to updates. Ultimately, the most reliable method to determine which Heroes align with your playstyle is through hands-on experimentation and firsthand experience.
S Tier Hero
S Tier Heroes are the top dogs in Blade X, the best performers on the roster. They have powerful abilities and high versatility in every stage.
Dark Witch (Courage)

Dark Witch uses a concentrated energy orb to unleash frightening magic and obliterate her enemies. Rightfully claiming the S Tier, she can summon crows to inflict Damage over Time (DoT) and strike down lightning with every four normal attacks.

Throwing her orb, it will pull in enemies before exploding and dealing devastating damage. The Dark Witch also unleashes a breath attack that sweeps through enemies in the front.
She summons a flock of crows imbued with the power of death, annihilating enemies within the area. She’s frighteningly powerful and easy to use, an ideal Hero for beginner players.
Kunoichi (Trickery)

With the honed instincts of a warrior forged in the fires of ninja training, Kunoichi rightfully sits at Tier S for her quicksilver agility and devastating single-target and crowd-control abilities that paint the battlefield crimson.

Kunoichi charges through enemies to deal damage in her path. She throws kunai, which can be upgraded into a shuriken and transformed into a chain with the ability to pull in nearby enemies.
This is a useful skill to keep your enemies in one spot before you unleash a powerful AoE ability. Kunoichi also whips enemies with chains engulfed in flames that deal significant damage.
A Tier
A Tier Heroes are consistently strong and offer effective abilities. While they may lack the raw power of S Tier heroes, they compensate with their adaptability. When their skill sets are used efficiently in battles, these heroes can hold their own against powerful bosses.
Dragoon (Trickery)

The Dragoon is a high-mobility melee hero known for impressive acrobatic leaps and potent piercing attacks. He is your initial hero when you start the game, and you will instantly notice his quick combos and massive damage output.
The Dragoon sits in the A Tier for his speed and one-hit abilities.

Dragoon has the ability to jump forward and slam down his weapon with the power to stun enemies. With his dual blade, he continuously strikes down the target and pierces it with a powerful blow once he unleashes fury.
Elementalist (Wisdom)

The Elementalist is the support hero on the roster, as she can heal her allies over time. She mainly uses the power of light when dealing damage to her enemies and takes less damage while using active skills.

Elementalist rolls a spiked wheel forward, damaging enemies and pushing them back. She can fire a continuous laser and focus her power on one spot, pulling in enemies and causing a wide-range explosion. She falls behind Dark Witch but is still a decent magic caster.
B Tier
Compared to higher tiers, B Tier Heroes may have some drawbacks and limitations, but they can still be effective with proper practice and strategy. They’re capable but require more effort to shine in combat.
Godhand / Fist Master (Wisdom)

Godhand is another melee DPS hero who can self-heal and boost his attack damage. He has an additional damage explosion when he attacks his target using his Ki.

Godhand hit the ground twice in succession, dealing damage to nearby enemies. He also delivers a powerful combo, followed by a powerful penetrating strike. While the Godhand is strong when upgraded, his only drawback is a lack of speed.
Paladin (Courage)

With high defense, the ability to increase her own attack power, and her glowing shield attracts enemies, the Paladin is the tank Hero on the roster. The Paladin slams her enemy with a shield and unleashes holy energy in all directions, dealing impressive damage.

Channeling the power of the Gods, she emanates a potent light that purifies enemies and summons a spear from the sky to eliminate her targets. She can withstand devastating attacks, but her slow movement and high cooldown place her last in the tier.
Conclusion
Upgrading hero levels, and equipment, and collecting relics is paved with relentless grind in Blade X: Odyssey of Heroes.
It demands significant time and dedication to reach the desired performance for your heroes. Nevertheless, the investment of effort will be worth it once you reach the endgame content.
